Villa Amedeo is part of a network of properties which respect the history, nature and culture of the place and its people.
This is why the furnishings and fittings have been chosen with great care, and the restoration preserved its identity, deliberately avoiding the introduction of items that are not inherent to the place, such as swimming pool, tennis courts or air conditioners. We have instead decided to appreciate the nearby river and natural reserve Merse by offering our guests bikes for rides across the surrounding paths and accessories to relax by the water.
We therefor invite you to join the lifestyle of Villa Amedeo.
Please turn off the lights when you’re out, keep the heating at a reasonable temperature in winter time and use natural ventilation during hot summers. This goes hand in hand with ‘Mediterranean living’, where you open the shutters only morning and evenings, to keep the inside air as cool as possible during the day. Please use water consciously and avoid wasting it!.
All together we can contribute to preserve this both unique and specific heritage, yet common to all of those who share it’s same values.
